Before you start
The six things people ask first.
Do I need to be able to draw?
No. The drawing is the part Lumoverse handles. What you bring is the story: who these people are, where they are, and what happens to them.
If you can describe a scene to a friend, you can describe it here. There is nothing to learn about image generation, and no prompt syntax to memorise.
Will my characters actually look the same in every panel?
That is the problem the product is built around. Each character gets an identity sheet with fixed anchors — a scar, a ribbon, a coat that never changes — and every panel is generated against that sheet rather than from a blank slate.
It is not perfect, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. When a panel drifts, you regenerate that one panel and the rest of the comic is untouched.
Can I use my own photo, or a character I drew myself?
Yes. You can attach reference images to a character, and the look is taken from those instead of from your description alone. A photo of yourself and a face you drew on paper both work.
Upload only images you have the rights to. A photo of somebody else is theirs, not yours.
What does it cost?
Making an account is free and comes with 25 coins. One coin generates one image, so that is 25 images before any money is involved — no card, and no trial timer counting down.
After that you buy coins in packs, when the purchase option is enabled and visible. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own.
Who owns what I make?
You do. You keep the rights to your worlds, your characters and your comics, and you decide whether any of it is public.
You are also responsible for what you upload and publish. Do not use characters or artwork you have no rights to.
Is my work private by default?
Yes. Everything you create starts private and stays private until you publish it yourself. Nothing is public because you forgot a setting.
Publishing is per item, not per account. A world, a character, a comic and even a single chapter each carry their own setting, so publishing one never drags the rest of your library into public view with it.
